Best Hotel Downtown Dallas?

I think that depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for luxury, my suggestions would be either the Adolphus or the Mansion on Turtle Creek. Both have an amazing staff and great service. Speaking from experience, the Mansion on Turtle Creek has amazing restaurant. I know the Adolphus has an acclaimed one as well but have never visited myself. If you are looking for a nice, romantic weekend I would highly recommend either of these two.

If you're a bit more budget conscious but still want a unique experience, I would suggest either Hotel Indigo or the Belmont Hotel. Both have a lot of character however without the additives of chain hotels.

Hope that helps!Best Hotel Downtown Dallas?
I would reccomend the Hotel Palomar Dallas - a Kimpton Hotel

We really liked the Palomar a lot. The modern d茅cor is very nice without being too trendy. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is central, on the edge of the very beautiful Park Cities area and close to downtown. But the hotel is also right next to a highway and the noise is hard to ignore.

We booked a one bedroom suite that had a large entry foyer, living room, separate bedroom, and large white marbled bathroom. There was one step down from the hallway to the living room and bedroom areas and one step up to the bathroom. Each room was good size with a black and pale yellow color scheme and very nice flat screen televisions with some of the clearest pictures we have seen. A bedside iPod docking station is an appreciated addition to the room. The beds were very comfortable. The lighting was nice and allowed us to created mellow mood at night. Of course the best non-standard feature of the room was the gold fish that kept us company throughout our stay! The bathroom was a real standout. With a whirlpool for two, separate shower, and very attractive overall look. The bath products were by L鈥橭ccitane.

The rest of the hotel is also very nice with a bright cool looking lobby, and a hip looking restaurant/bar. The hotel gym is nice but very small and does not present much of an opportunity to get a good workout. There is a spa at hotel but we did not check it out. The pool area is very nice by design, but unfortunately it was too cool to swim in. I was told by a guest that stays at this hotel on a regular basis that she thought the hotel kept the temperature low during the week and raised it on the weekends when the pool scene picked up. The air temperature was in the upper seventies during our stay.

Our room was in the middle of the hotel so half the rooms where closer to the highway and half farther away. Although we slept well, there is a constant noise level that we think would bother some guests, especially if they are on a vacation. It was also a shame that the owners of the hotel built a residence building to the south of the hotel, blocking a nice view of downtown and taking sunlight away from the pool.

The hotel offers a complimentary wine hour every night that is a nice touch you can not find at very many hotels. The Palomar is a beautiful hotel that has the feel and look of a nice boutique style property. If highway noise is not a factor for you, then you should be pretty happy at this hotel
