Good hotel downtown for couple?

My boyfriend and I are celebrating our one year in December and we really want to go to a nice hotel downtown.

We can spend anywhere from 150-230ish.

Thanks :)Good hotel downtown for couple?

But...I LOVE The Magnolia!

Good luck!
there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
Hotel ZaZa Houston is at walking distance to zoo and most of te museums. If you are looking for the price range check the other hotels.

Hyatt Regency Downtown is pretty nice. :)

And Hotel Icon. Also I hear Hotel ZaZa is nice, but no idea how expensive it is.
Doubletree Hotel Houston Downtown, I like. I stayed there a couple of years back
Try Hotel Zaza-on the edge of downtown in the Museum District.

There's always Zaza, but it isn't quite downtown (museum district).
